Mediating Role of Attitude of Bilingual Learning in Sense of Purpose and Academic Achievement in Elementary School and Middle School Students in Xinjiang
Abstract: 558 students are selected (including elementary school and middle school) in Qitai Xinjiang, and we give them the questionnaires on attitude of bilingual learning, sense of purpose, and academic achievement. The results showed: (1) there are significant gender difference on attitude of bilingual learning and sense of purpose; the girls are better than the boys; (2) there are significant positive correlation among attitude of bilingual learning, sense of purpose, and academic achievement, and academic achievement can be predicted by attitude of bilingual learning and sense of purpose; (3) bilingual learning attitude plays the partial intermediary role between the sense of learning purpose and academic achievement.
