The Impact of Health Education Intervention on the Recovery of Ophthalmic Clinic Area Surgery Patients

Abstract: Objective: In order to improve the quality of nursing and patients satisfaction, we studied the effect of health education intervention in ophthalmic clinic area surgical treatment. Methods: 70 ophthalmic clinic area patients were randomly divided into experimental group with health education inter- vention and control group with routine health education. Experimental group was researched through health education before diagnosis, out-patient examination, the health education in the process of treatment, operation health teaching, and health education after diagnosis. The forms of health education include health education publicity column, tutorial, giving The Health Education Prescription, video education. Control group used the method of health education before diagnosis and nuncupation. Results: Health education intervention can improve the patient’s health consciousness in ophthalmic clinic area surgery, optimize the medical process, maintain the good order and clinical environment. The recovery of experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Implementing health education according to the scientific and reasonable health education intervention measures can provide personalized, holistic nursing care, reduce the patient’s pain and the economic burden, and promote rehabilitation. At last, it can improve the patients satisfaction to nursing working, and also improve the nurses’ study enthusiasm and professional qualities.
