Problems and Reasons for Teaching Ability of Young Teachers in the Business Administration Major
Abstract: Young teachers, as the backbone of teacher group in the business administration major, are the key factor of improving the university teaching quality. The young teachers in the business ad-ministration major have some problems like insufficient course knowledge reserve, lack of in-structional design capability, poor teaching language skills, low capacity of classroom control and lack of teaching summary and practical experience. The main reasons are weak correlation between scientific research and teaching, low temptation of teaching interests, inadequate investment in teaching, extensive teaching training, emphasis on theory and neglect of practice, formalization of teaching and research activities, only reward no punishment of teaching evaluation system and lack of appropriate systems or poor execution for the acquisition of practical experience. To improve the specialization of young teachers in the business administration major and the quality of business administration major education, we should strengthen the research on how to advance the teaching abilities of college youth teachers.
