Analysis of the Influence of Typhoon “Seagull” in Niulanjiang Hongshiyan Lake
Abstract: In September 16, 2014, fifteenth typhoon “Seagull” landed in Hainan and Guangdong province. The up-stream typhoon rainfall was 50 - 100.0 mm and the Deese reservoir released flood discharge at the same time, the highest water level reached 1182.58 m in the Hongshiyan Lake, in which the water level varia-tion was 8.22 m. During the typhoon “Seagull” period, hydrological information at upper and downstream stations were carefully measured and analyzed to find out the influence factors and change law, which would provide the technical basis for the lake disposal and construction.
