Abstract: Romantic love, one of the most powerful affective states, has been regarded as the inspiration for the extraordinary achievements of mankind. Romantic love plays an important role in human survival, reproduction, development and evolution. Understanding the neural mechanism of romantic love will be helpful to better understand the physiological of marriage crisis and rela-tionship disorder. This paper will review the neuroimaging studies of romantic love.
