南岭地区大气重力波个例分析

摘要:Abstract: We get an obvious gravity wave case by analysing MODIS data. Then we use theory of shear instability and geostrophic unbalanced relationship to prove it. The result shows that wind shear and geostrophic adjustment all play an important role in the development of gravity wave. Wavelet analysis is used to study the characters of the gravity wave in depth. We find that the wavelength of the gravity wave is centered between 300 - 350 km, and the height is centered between 900 hPa and 500 hPa.
