新世纪中国领导研究的系统回顾与反思

摘要:

基于2000~2010年中文核心期刊发表的领导研究文献,本文系统地回顾和梳理了中国领导研究的当前状况。文章考察了相关文献的增长态势与研究主题分布,采用内容分析的方法,概括了2000年以来国内学者在本土领导理论开发和西方领导理论的检验与延伸二方面所取得的研究成果。作者从理论建构和研究方法二大方面分析探讨了中国领导研究存在的问题和未来发展方向。文章认为:1) 中国领导研究在继承和沿用西方研究范式的同时,也沿袭了西方领导研究的局限性;2) 领导理论的创新离不开对典型领导实践的研究;3) 寻找适合领导研究的科学方法论和领导理论发展的逻辑起点是未来发展领导理论的迫切任务;4) 发展出有效的领导理论模型是未来领导研究取得突破性成果的关键。

Based on the leadership research literature published on Chinese core academic journals from 2000 to 2010, this paper provided a comprehensive review on the status quo of leadership research in Mainland China. The current paper reviewed the development of relevant literature and topic distributions, and summarized domestic research progress on both developing indigenous leadership theories and examining and extending western leadership theories since 2000, using content analysis approach. Current problems and future directions are also suggested on theoretical construction and research methods aspects of Chinese leadership research. This paper claimed that: 1) Chinese leadership research complied with the limitations of western research paradigm when adopting western leadership research approach; 2) Innovations of leadership theories should incorporate representative leadership practices; 3) Future studies in developing leadership theory press for seeking proper scientific research methodology for leadership studies and logical starting points for theoretical construction; and 4) Developing effective leadership theoretical models will be the crucial issue for future researchers to achieve breakthroughs.
